WHY THE NAME
It’s not a place for the faint-hearted.

CONCEPT EXPLAINED
A cross between a Rock Joint, Tiki Bar and Strip Club, the concept was never intended to be very static. We tried to convert the energy of the bartending team into a dynamic environment with lots of personality,that allowed them to host a multitude of events with a lot of cheekiness. We gave the kitchen in the back a food stall personality and its own name: Pink Taco.

DESIGN HIGHLIGHTS
There are many special details like the guillotine herb baskets in the main bar or the special foldable tables that turn the dinner environment quickly into a dancing scene. Special mention goes to the lighting design that brings the place to life at night.

MOST DIFFICULT PART OF THE PROJECT
The long wait and the complex building process tired not only us, but the whole project team. But the current success has made the long wait worthwhile.

WHAT WE ARE MOST PROUD OF
The client intended just to use the ground floor for a bar with a small kitchen, but after a very difficult legal and technical process we succeeded in legalising the basement. There we located the smallest disco in Barcelona, called Club Sauvage, with a Tiki bar and stripper poles, which we believe makes Bar Sauvage stand out from its competitors.

BRAND TRIVIA
The brand identity features a quirky cocktail menu in a daft leather menu holder and customisable jeans and biker jackets as staff uniforms amongst others. For the brand strategy we came up with a low cost sticker campaign to get the name on the streets.
